This is the smallest Hama bead with a diameter of 2.5mm. Due to its small size it is recommended for children aged 10 through to adults. As the beads are very delicate we recommend that a pair of craft tweezers are used. Many adults who enjoy cross-stitching appreciate the beautiful designs they can create using the Mini bead range.
Mini beads work exactly the same as Maxi and Midi beads. Pictures and patterns are created on pegboards. When finished a piece of ironing paper is placed on top and with an iron set at wool/silk the picture can be sealed ready to lift off the pegboard after cooling and the pegboard is ready for use again.
As the beads are very fine, much greater detail and sophistication of patterns can be achieved. The resulting designs can be used on greetings cards or hung from a mobile ring. Use your own imagination or further ideas from Inspiration Book 5.
